What We Do:

The Nebraska Association of the Deaf (NeAD) was founded in 1902 as a non-profit organization with the objective of promoting educational, social and employment rights of deaf and hard of hearing citizens.

NeAD works tirelessly to improve the quality of lives of deaf and hard of hearing citizens by keeping an eye on a wide range of issues including employment, education, technology, etc. Our advocacy is far from finished.

You and the NeAD are PARTNERS dedicated to helping all deaf and hard of hearing people in Nebraska achieve maximum success in life. Our philosophy is one of partnership, working together to uphold the freedom of our targeted population to chart its own future and sustain first class citizenship status on par with our hearing contemporaries.
